CASE STUDY - Barclays Hackathon

Uncovering the most promising startups for Barclays

Scouting startups from key digital locations around the UK & Europe for a 6 month period, the competition brought together 15 finalists for a live 48 hour hack taking place on the fringes of Unbound London. Over the course of the two days, teams were evaluated and following the end of day 1 semi- finals, 6 teams returned for a final day of hacking and the grand final.

Held in the presence of the Global Chief Digital Officer and Global Head of R&D, the companies competed for a place in the forthcoming Barclays TechStars Accelerator programme and opportunity to roll out their solutions/product with Barclays.
