A recent executive hire at R/GA, Calvin is no stranger to the advertising and media industry. Calvin was voted Asia’s no.1 creative by Campaign Brief while at Saatchis. He left Singapore to break into USA was the first Asian hired to be Associate Creative Director in Fallon, arguably the world’s top agency in 2000. He came back to start Fallon Asia and was the youngest Asian head of a regional Network before becoming the Vice-Chairman and CCO of Publicis Asia. He was Board Advisor to the Singapore Productivity and Innovation board and President’s Award nominee.
In 2012, Calvin left the industry to reinvent himself, and to prepare his family for an exponential future.
He was an urban farmer, built apps, branded digital currencies, speaker at Vegas SXSW, author of ‘The Big Red Dot’ with his son Dylan Soh, co-created the FutureMe exhibition about the future with Pico Arts, successfully funded the GIY (Grow-It-Yourself) self-watering system on Kickstarter, and created One Kind House, an urban farming home he designed.
Calvin is married, a father and thus impervious to pain and suffering. He graduated with A Levels from Stamford College Singapore.
