Clarence Chan is the founder of Bandwagon, the leading independent music media company in Southeast Asia, delivering news, entertainment, and events happening in our region to millions of readers around the world. His vision is to make Singapore a music nation and help music in Southeast Asia make a global impact.
Bandwagon publishes in both English and Chinese to foster greater connection between fans and artistes of popular music from the East and West, with an e-commerce extension initiative recently launched, #ShopBandwagon, to give fans greater access to quality music merchandise, and enable artists to connect directly with their fan base in the region.
Bandwagon is also spearheading Singapore’s national music movement, Hear65 to raise the profile of Singaporean music and musicians with global audiences. A new digital platform will be launched and curated by Bandwagon, featuring Singapore music of all genres and ages, as announced in Parliament by Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) on 8 March 2018.
Clarence is also actively involved in the regional music and lifestyle scene and has been invited to be a judge for The Singapore Tourism Awards in 2017 and 2018.
