Vice President of Digital and Strategic Partnerships, CNBC

Michael Kearns is CNBC International's Vice President of Digital and Strategic Partnerships.  Kearns is responsible for devising and driving the network's digital product and content offerings outside the United States, as well as to strengthen existing partnerships to enhance and grow the network's reach. 

Kearns was previously Head of News and Programming for CNBC in Asia Pacific, where he managed CNBC's business day news and weekend programming while establishing editorial priorities with programme leaders. 

Kearns is an award-winning journalist with a track record of delivering innovative and compelling content. 

Prior to joining CNBC, Kearns worked as the Executive Producer in charge of Business News at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Toronto.  He also served as the founding Executive Producer for 'The Lang And O'Leary Exchange', Canada's most-watched business show.  He held various roles over his 17-year tenure at CBC including 2 years in the Beijing bureau, where he produced coverage of live events, breaking news stories and documentaries.   Kearns holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Arts in Political Science, University of Toronto.
