Rob Gashi joined Salesforce  in July 2016 to lead Salesforce Industry Strategy and Advisory to drive executive engagements with key customers and Industries across the Asia Pacific.

As Vice President for Industries, Rob’s focus is on helping customers become Trailblazers in their Industries as they navigate and take advantage of cloud computing and digital to connect with their customers in meaningful ways relevant to their industry, whilst taking advantage of innovations that have inspired other industries and digital landscape.

Prior to joining Salesforce, Rob was the Global Vice President at Oracle (through the Siebel acquisition), leading Communications, Media & Entertainment Industry Solutions strategy and development, as well as cross industry innovation in Customer Experience and IoT.   He was the founding member and global leader of Global Client Advisory at Oracle, leading executive engagements with some of the largest customers and transformations globally for the past ten years.

Prior to Oracle, his career spanned leadership roles in technology and management consulting roles across Financial Services, Communications, Media, Health, Tech and Retail industry, and was a founding member of a number of start-ups, more recently as a co-founder and CTO of iSelect..

His experience stems from a number of large-scale industry transformations globally in the communications and financial services industries.

Rob has keen interest in Med and Health Tech having been involved as a technology and business advisor in the Industry sector prior to joining Salesforce, and sits on the Advisory Board of National Institute of Integrative Medicine.

Rob is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from RMIT University.
