How do you handle good and not-so-good experiences along this journey? Can you afford to be discerning in your choice of investors, shareholders, advisors? How do you handle divergent interests amongst shareholders and the growing pains? Join Dentons Rodyk’s senior partner S. Sivanesan, who will be moderating a panel discussion “From Founders to Being Found”, featuring speakers Sam Lim, co-founder of Reebonz, Marcus Swanepoel, Co-founder and CEO of Luno, and Steve Melhuish, Co-founder and Vice Chairman of PropertyGuru. They will share their experiences and provide useful, logical and practical advice for would-be founders as well as those who think they have been ‘found’.

In this 90-minute workshop Mark Adams – VICE Media’s Head of Innovation – will share the the “how to” of producing high ROI content for your brand. This workshop will demystify the content question and give brand builders the keys to unlocking content that actually grows market share.

Innovation Academy Four – Crafting Mobile Ready Videos on Facebook and Instagram
Creating engaging and creative video content is a necessity in the age of social. Of these social networks, few are as important for video as Facebook and Instagram. Join João Carlos Pastore from Facebook as he demystifies the science behind what makes a great video and how Blueprint can become an invaluable resource to content creators everywhere. Led by João Carlos Pastore, Blueprint Live Lead APAC, Facebook, this session takes place 14:30 – 15:30pm, 4th May at the Innovation Academy, Level 5, Marina Bay Sands. Seats at this workshop are first come, first served.
Singtel Innov8 VC Forum
The Singtel Innov8 VC Forum will take place for 3 hours throughout the afternoon on the 03 May. The forum is open to all attendees and will host panel sessions exploring topics such as global investment trends, the role of incubators and accelerators, innovating corporations and much more.
How Belgium became the European hotbed for IOT
This session will explain how Belgium became the mOst prominent IOT-country in Europe, and how Antwerp is positioning itself as the European IOT-capital. There are a lot of similarities with Singapore, Antwerp being the biggest and most important European port city. What are the plans of the Belgian IOT-players in Singapore and in South-East Asia? With speakers from Playpass, Rombit, IOT Factory, SettleMint and T-Mining, this session takes place in the Galileo Room, 4-5 pm on 3rd May. Speakers include: Ron Schuermans (Playpass), Jorik Rombouts (Rombit), Nico Wauters (T-Mining), Luc F. Jacobs (IOT Factory) and Roderik Van der Veer (SettleMint).
