A dinner series with influential speakers, The Huddle is centered on the tech trends shaping our digital future. Unbound gathers 30 – 40 like-minded tech, business and innovation leaders, forming a vibrant community.
About the Huddle
Unbound is building a global, diverse ecosystem of entrepreneurs, investors and thought leaders. The Huddle brings together some of the most innovative minds for a crossover of conversation, to find ways to encourage greater collaboration and help others succeed in transforming the digital economy.
The Huddle launched in New York in December 2018 with founding host, Mastercard. The dinner series brings together New York's tech, business and innovation leaders building the future of tech and business.
Unbound strongly believes diversity fuels innovative ideas, so, together with the Host, we aim for diversity in gender, seniority, ethnicity and background. To encourage diversity, at each dinner, at least 50% of attendees will be female, and over 30% will be new to the community.
With Unbound’s global network of over 120,000 people, together with the Host, this is the chance to meet those who can help you succeed, in an intimate, relaxed environment.
Members of The Huddle:
Bloomberg, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, Google, Invesco, JP Morgan Chase, Lyft, Oscar, Octane Lending, Revolut, Ripple and more.
While The Huddle has so far been taking place in New York, if you're interested in hosting The Huddle or taking the dinner series to a new city, please get in touch.
Each member is invited to submit an Ask of the community. An Ask might be to help advance your career, advice on scaling into new markets, or an introduction to an influential person. It’s then up to the community to collaborate to solve that ‘Ask’, ultimately helping one another to succeed. The Host and Unbound can help open doors for all community members.
The What, Where and When:
A three-course complimentary meal hosted every 6 - 10 weeks in lower Manhattan's most sleek, bustling bistros.
What’s the format?
An interactive, informal gathering led by an influential speaker, with topics dependent on the trends shaping our digital future. All while enjoying a three-course complimentary meal at some of Manhattan’s most sleek, bustling bistros.
The Huddle brings together tech, business and innovation leaders from across New York City building the future of tech and business. However, we strive for the room to be majority founders, entrepreneurs and leaders in their field.
How are people selected?
Unbound identifies individuals based on their leadership and position within New York's ecosystem. This could mean the demonstration of leadership by founding an exciting new business, honing skill by focussing on emerging technologies or influence through thought leadership.
Unbound, together with the Host, aims for diversity in gender, seniority, ethnicity and background. The Host may bring focus to The Huddle with a theme.
Can I bring a friend?
Each dinner brings in new members to the community, with up to 50% of attendees joining for the first time. By referring someone, you're only helping the community grow.
Please note, to ensure vibrancy we ask that you invite those from outside of your business. Think of those that have helped you get to where you are today or those that could benefit from a community such as The Huddle. But also be aware that referrals are reviewed only in the day immediately before each dinner.
How can you benefit from the community?
Other than a free dinner and a roomful of incredible people that each participant introduces themselves to, each member is invited to submit an Ask of the community. Your Ask might be to help you advance your career, advice on scaling into new markets, or an introduction to an influential person. It’s then up to the community to collaborate to solve that ‘Ask’, ultimately helping one another to succeed. The Host and Unbound can help open doors for all community members.
Who foots the bill?
While Unbound organizes The Huddle, the host supports the vibrant, fast-paced Huddle community to help it unleash its full potential.
